Costura Lab is a creative sewing studio in DTLA’s Fashion District, founded by Sofia Bolognesi. It’s a space rooted in craftsmanship, collaboration, and intentional design where ideas are shaped with care and brought to life thoughtfully.

Sofia is a Los Angeles–based fashion designer with formal training in Technical Apparel Design, Arts & Humanities, and Marketing. Born in Lima, Peru and shaped by a global perspective, she approaches fashion as both a creative practice and a tool for meaningful impact.

At Costura Lab, we work closely with designers, brands, and individuals on custom pieces, sample development, alterations, and small-batch production. Every project is collaborative, balancing technical precision with creative vision.

Guided by the belief that design can be both beautiful and responsible, Costura Lab is committed to ethical practices, community, and sharing knowledge creating garments with intention and supporting the people behind them.
